PALO ALTO (BCN) –A car slammed into a Palo Alto home this afternoon, sending a person who had been standing on the front lawn to the hospital, fire officials said.
The car veered off of Boyce Avenue into a home that was scheduled for demolition next week for a remodel, according to the Palo Alto Fire Department.
One person was struck on the front lawn was rushed to Stanford Hospital’s emergency room.
The elderly driver of the car stayed at the scene.
Firefighters are shoring the damaged structure to make it safe for the homeowners to retrieve belongings.
