Obama Talks Economics and Immigration With New President of Mexico

MEXICO CITY – President Barack Obama heads to Mexico City today to meet with the new president, Enrique Pena Nieto. Obama is eager to promote Mexico’s economic success, and the country’s role as the second-largest export market for U.S. goods and services.

In doing so, Obama is also looking to sell his immigration overhaul back home — since he’ll need to point to a growing economy in Mexico and a Mexican president who is willing to help him secure the border.
