Police Pursuit Ends in Crash After S.F. Mission District Shooting

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – Two people have been arrested and one suspect is still at-large after a police pursuit followed a non-fatal shooting in San Francisco’s Mission district Thursday morning.

Police received a report of a shooting near the intersection of 19th and Mission streets at about 2:04 a.m. An officer on patrol in the area witnessed the shooting and pursued the vehicle, which led police on a high-speed chase that ended on an on-ramp to southbound 101 in South San Francisco when the driver crashed into a tree.

Police were able to apprehend two of the suspects but one was able to flee on foot. A perimeter was set up in the area and police are conducting a search for the suspect on-the-run.

The victim with a gunshot wound to the leg was transported to the hospital, police said.
