George Zimmer Fired From Men’s Wearhouse

NEW YORK – Fremont-based Men’s Wearhouse Inc. says it has dismissed its founder and executive chairman George Zimmer.

In a terse release issued Wednesday, the company didn’t give a reason for the abrupt firing of Zimmer, who founded the chain in 1973. It said that the board expects to discuss with Zimmer the extent, if any, and terms of “his ongoing relationship” with the company.

Zimmer was seen as the face of the company, appearing in many of its TV commercials with the slogan, “You’re going to like the way you look. I guarantee it.”

The company runs its namesake chain of men’s clothing stores, as well as the Moores and K&G retail chains. It also sells uniform and work wear in the U.S. and U.K.

Aww I wonder why! George Zimmer was a great Chairman. He would always go to all the holiday parties and he made sure people we’re treated fairly and paid well. Bummed to hear this!

Please pardon me but I have a question: In light of our being unable to block or delete criminal stalker troll spoofers, and whereas sites tend to no be interested in reacting to flags of and complaints about criminal stalker troll spoofers and that nobody seems able to remove them; what can be done about them? One using identity name
rimpyisstupid at disqus(dot)com/guest/31992820e2d00fd39d5da7f8e25d7ad2 but the page to which when I go there, my account appears, and another one originally using name starlitsky, switched to a spoof “rimpy” at
disqus(dot)com/starlitsky/ who this morning has given me 45 or more troll spams at various stories from multiple web sites- are truly obnoxious.
Do you enforce your own rules or not? Also, at the starlitsky page, it says it has 17 followers. One of which says me! I never followed anyone! HAs my account been hacked? DELETE THE CRIMINALS
