SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A 57-year old year old San Francisco Parks and Recreation employee is facing two felony charges for the hit-and=run death of a Daly City woman near Holly Park.
Tom Burnoski is charged with vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run.
Witnesses say Burnoski was driving a San Francsico Parks and Recreation pick-up truck when he ran over 35-year old Christine Svanemyr while the woman sat with her child under a tree.
Burnoski allegedly fled the scene of the accident. He was arrested a few blocks away.
Police say Burnoski remains in the San Francisco County Jail. The San Francisco Parks and Recreation Department says it is cooperating with the investigation.
