Cyberattack on Adobe Exposes Customer Credit Card Numbers


SAN JOSE (KRON) — If you have a credit card on file with San Jose-based Adobe, crooks might have access to the information.

The maker of popular programs like Photoshop and Acrobat says a cyberattack on its systems exposed credit card information for 2.9 million customers.

Adobe says it is in the process of notifying customers and resetting account passwords. Federal law officersd are also looking into the breach.

It appears the bad guys got into customer names, ecrypted credit and debit card numbers, expiration dates, and other information.
