Assemblywoman Skinner Announces Bill Targeting Rape Kit Backlog

The controversial Measure C is getting approval late Tuesday night.

The measure would require gun owners to report gun thefts to police within 48 hours, lock up guns at home and get rid of magazines holding more than 10 rounds.

Gun dealers would have to keep logs of ammunition sales.

Tonight, with all 54 precincts reporting – almost two-thirds of the voters are supporting it.
