SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The city of San Francisco posted clear directions on how to dispose of old Christmas trees.
From January 2nd until the 15th, you are required to place your clean, unflocked trees next to your trash bins.
Be sure to remove all tinsel decorations, plastic bags, stands, and lights. If the tree measures more than six feet tall, you need to cut it in half.
No where does it read take your tree and toss it on the nearest corner.
