$20,000 Reward Offered for Suspect Wanted in 2013 Murder

SAN JOSE — San Jose Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect connected to a 2013 San Jose homicide.

Police say a preliminary investigation suggests the suspect, Juan Ramirez, confronted the victim in a apartment complex parking lot on the 900 block of north first street, before she was stabbed to death on March 22.

The victim, 29-year-old Sandra Cruzes-Gonsalez, suffered multiple stab wounds and died at a local hospital.

Police say Ramirez and the victim had a previous relationship that ended two years before her death, but police say Gonsalez had a restraining order against Ramirez after he began stalking her.

Ramirez was last seen at the scene of the stabbing fleeing on foot.

Authorities believe he may have left the state or fled to Mexico. He may also be driving a dark green, 1996 Toyota T-100 pick-up truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact San Jose Police.
