SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — If you love country music, NASCAR, rodeos, and sweet tea, then San Francisco might not be the right place for you.
A new study in the home search site Estately finds San Francisco is the “least country” of the 50 largest cities in the United States.
San Francisco ranked near the bottom on the number of people who list country music, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, firearms, barbecue, cowboy boots, rodeos, sweet tea, and pickup trucks among their interests on Facebook.
The country vibe isn’t a whole lot stronger in Oakland which came in 44th on the list or San Jose which was 42nd.
Fort Worth Texas, aka “Cowtown,” ranked at the top of the list. At 24th, Fresno was the most country city in California, according to the research.
