SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The health department on Friday temporarily shut down a Chinatown bakery and a Walgreens because of a mice infestation.
Pest control began sanitizing the Stockton Street stores early this morning until about about 3 p.m. when the stores where cleared to reopen.
Inspectors say that mice were found in the basement and upstairs areas of Walgreens. The infestation spread to the Mee Mee Bakery located next door.
The health department says they will return next Tuesday to reinspect both buildings.
