OAKLEY (BCN) — One person has been detained in connection with a homicide at an Oakley home this afternoon, according to Oakley police.
Police said they were called to a home on the first block of Amador Avenue shortly before 4 p.m. today on a report of a disturbance and fight.
Officers found an injured man on the ground at a home. The man, later determined to be a resident of the home, was declared dead at the scene, police said.
The man’s identity has not yet been released.
The death has been classified as a homicide and a man has been detained. No motive has been established, police said.
