Power To Be Restored Around 2 p.m. in Cupertino Outage

CUPERTINO — More than 1.400 people in Cupertino have been without power since 9 a.m., but the Pacific Gas & Electric Company expects it to be restored by about 2 p.m., PG&E officials said.

The outage is affecting 1,418 PG&E customers in Cupertino west of state Highway 85 in an area generally bordered by Stelling Road to the east, Canyon View Drive to the west, Columbus Avenue to the north and the south end of Regnart Road to the south, according to PG&E’s website.

PG&E is still investigating the cause of the outage, the utility reported.
