Evacuations Ending After Threat Against Oakland’s McClymonds High

OAKLAND (KRON) — An evacuation at an Oakland High School is wrapping up after reports of a bomb threat against the campus.

The threat came in just after 8:00 a.m. Wednesday to office at McClymonds High School on Myrtle Street between 26th and 28th.

Authorities say police removed students and staff from the school buildings while officers searched the campus. They reportedly found nothing suspicious.

The order to lift the evacuation was issued just before 9:00 a.m.

There are no confirmed reports of injuries or arrests in the case.

The incident comes a week and a day before the scheduled last day of classes for this school term.
