OAKLAND — Almost 2,000 customers are without power in Oakland this morning, a PG&E spokeswoman said.
The outage, affecting about 1,952 customers, was reported shortly after 1 a.m. Friday, PG&E spokeswoman Jana Morris said.
The outage is affecting customers in an area including Fourth Street, Clay Street and East Eighth Street, she said.
A crew is patrolling in the affected area and there is no estimated time of when power will be restored, Morris said.
The cause of the outage is under investigation.
