MARIN CO. — The Marin County Sheriff’s Office has identified two persons of interest in a Kentfield residential burglary on Sunday.
Sheriff’s deputies responded around 2 p.m. to a burglary in progress at a South Ridgewood Road residence.
The person reporting the burglary said two black males were leaving the area in a red Lexus, and deputies determined the residence had been ransacked, sheriff’s Lt. Jamie Scardina said.
Deputies spotted a red Lexus traveling on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, and the driver failed to yield to a traffic stop, Scardina said.
Deputies followed the red Lexus south on U.S. Highway 101 into Mill Valley where the driver and a passenger fled the vehicle in the De Silva Valley neighborhood, Scardina said. The driver and passenger were not found during an extensive search.
The sheriff’s office has identified Quinshawn Gowans, 19, of Vallejo and Larry Bradford Jr., 19, of Richmond as persons of interest, Scardina said.
Gowans stands about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds and Bradford stands 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds.
Anyone with information about the two men is asked to call the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.
