OKLAHOMA CITY (KRON) — A failed Republican candidate for Congress says he’s not giving up his fight for public office arguing the incumbant who beat him really died three years ago.
Timothy Murray is filing official papers contesting the results of last month’s primary election which named Congressman Frank Lucas the winner.
“I will be stating that his votes are switched with Rep. Lucas votes, because it is widely known Rep. Frank D. Lucas is no longer alive and has been displayed by a look alike,” Murray wrote in a statement on his web site.
Murray insists Lucas was executed in January of 2011 on “a white state in Southern Ukraine.”
Lucas denies having ever been to Ukraine.
Murray also claims the Pentagon has DNA evidence proving Lucas is dead and that the person now serving in Congress is a body double.
Lucas received 82% of the vote in this year’s primary election to Murray’s 5.2%
