Clackmannanshire, Scotland (KRON) — The SPCA in a small Scottish town is caring for a chicken found wandering outside a KFC restaurant.
Animal rescue workers say they’ve already named the chicken “Peggy.”
“Peggy is missing a lot of feathers and isn’t in great condition,” animal rescue officer Kirsty McQuade tells STV News.
Workers aren’t sure how Peggy ended up in front of the KFC.
“Anyone who can help us with our inquiries should get in touch as soon as possible,” McQuade says. “We’ll look after Peggy and find her a loving new owner if she can’t be returned home.”
Presumably the new owner won’t take Peggy back to the KFC.
