San Francisco Police Asking For Help In Finding Missing Woman

Santa Cruz Sheriff's Deputies Searching for Missing Mentally Challenged Man

SAN FRANCISCO –  Police in San Francisco are asking for the public’s help in locating a foreign woman suffering from Alzheimer’s disease who has been missing since early this morning.

Maria Ocampo, 55, arrived in the U.S. two days ago, does not speak English or have a cellphone, identification card or any money, according to San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza.

Ocampo was last seen in the city around 1:50 p.m. Saturday and reported missing this morning, Esparza said.

She is a Hispanic woman who stands about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a purple sweater, brown pants, brown shoes and carrying a brown purse, according to police.
