RICHMOND (KRON) — Firefighters are at the Richmond Chevron refinery Wednesday morning hours after a blaze inside the plant was reportedly extinguished.
There are no reports of injuries and no “shelter in place” order was ever issued.
The fire comes almost two years after an explosion at the Richmond Chevron refinery sent smoke towering over the entire Bay Area and prompted more than 1,000 people to seek medical attention.
