ATHERTON (KRON) — El Camino Real has reopened in both directions after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon in Atherton.
Emergency crews responded to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian at El Camino Real and Almendral Avenue at about 3:30 p.m.
The unidentified pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
All southbound lanes of El Camino Real were shut down from 5th Street for several hours.
