20 Injured in Crash Involving Muni Bus and Dump Truck

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco Municipal Railway bus collided with a dump truck that left 20 people injured.

The accident occurred on Geary Street between Webster and Buchannan streets at around 1:30 p.m., according to a fire officials.

Officials say that the collision injured 20 people and 12 have been transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.

All westbound lanes have been reopened to traffic.

About 20 minutes after the accident was reported, emergency crews responded to a second accident involving a Muni light rail vehicle and a big rig. The second crash left several people injured.
