HAWAII (KRON) — A significant quake has hit the Big Island of Hawaii just hours before the expected impact of Hurricane Issel.
The quake was centered just west of the town of Waimea near the northern tip of the Big Island. Initial data showed it measuring at Magnitude 4.5.
