SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — There are no evacuations on the mostly empty San Francisco State University campus after a reported gas leak.
Firefighters and PG&E crews are responding to the campus after officials say a contractor severed the line while doing construction work near the gymnasium.
Gas is shut off while repairs are underway.
The are no reports of injuries. All of the heating and air conditioning on campus is working but some buildings may not have gas for cooking until everything is fixed.
