UPDATE: Power Restored To More Than 1,600 Pleasanton PG&E Customers

PLEASANTON – Power has been restored to more than 1,600 PG&E customers in Pleasanton following an outage this afternoon in which many people reporting hearing a loud noise in the area, a utility spokesman said.

The power outage that impacted 1,604 customers in an area including Muirwood Drive, Forest Hill Drive and Cottonwood Lane was reported
shortly after 4 p.m., PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

The affected area was near Muirwood Community Park west of Interstate Highway 680.

Power was restored to all customers around 5:35 p.m., he said.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
