VIDEO: Sausalito Wreck Sends Car into Popular Restaurant

SAUSALITO (KRON) — A popular Sausalito eatery hopes to re-open soon after it was closed because of a serious accident Tuesday morning.

The accident that happened on Bridgeway Avenue near Spring Street after a 20-year-old Marin City man allegedly fled from authorities and crashed into multiple cars and businesses in Sausalito at about 9 a.m.

A deputy was attempting to stop Derrick McCann, wanted for grand theft from a person and a domestic violence incident from Monday, after he was spotted driving a Chevrolet along the 100 block of Drake Avenue, sheriff’s Lt. Scott Anderson said.
