OAKLAND — Around 10:28 a.m. a BART train headed to San Francisco was stopped after passengers reported a caustic odor on board the train, according to police.
Police stopped the train at the West Oakland station and evacuated passengers from the train.
Police and BART personnel boarded the train for inspection but found no residue or smell aboard the train.
As of 10:40 a.m. the train was back in order and moving.
