NAPA (KRON) — The city of Napa expects the number of red-tagged buildings to increase during the day on Monday.
Barry Martin with the city tells KRON 4’s Mark Danon and Darya Folsom 20-to-30 additional inspectors are arriving in Napa from the state Department of Emergency Services.
In addition to the building with red-tags where people are banned from entering, Martin also expects a large number of cautionary yellow tags to go up on buildings across the community.
The County of Napa is closing its administrative functions but the City of Napa and many businesses are open as usual. Martin says the exception to that is in the badly damaged downtown area where many owners will spend Monday cleaning up the mess and figuring out what was damaged.
