Gas Station Fire Leaves 23 in Need of Shelter in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Nearly two dozen people are looking for a new place to stay after a three-alarm fire Tuesday morning in San Francisco.

Fire investigators tell KRON 4 it appears the fire started in the garage area of a gas station at San Jose and Ocean.

The fire broke out about a half hour after midnight Tuesday morning and was out a little before 1:30 a.m.

There are no confirmed reports of injuries. The cause of the fire remains unclear.
