BREAKING NEWS: Liquid Spill Prompts Evacuation of Post Office in S.F.’s Sunset


SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A San Francisco post office remains evacuated after some kind of irritant spilled in the lobby.

Customers say they started feeling irritation in their eyes, noses, and throats when the spill happened in the lobby of the postal service facility at Irving and 22nd Avenue in the Sunset District.

Paramedics are on the scene. Firefighters say they noticed scratchy throats when they arrived on the scene.

It’s unclear what the substance is or the extent of any possible injuries.
