BLACK ROCK — Pershing County Officials have confirmed that a woman has died at Burning Man.
Officials confirmed the woman sustained fatal injuries after being struck by a bus Thursday morning.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
Burning man co-founder Marian Goodell released the following statement regarding the tragedy:
“This is a terrible accident.” “Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and campmates. Black Rock Rangers and Emergency Services Department staff are providing support to those affected.”
