Suspect Wanted for Robbing Man at Gunpoint in South San Francisco

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO — A man was robbed at gunpoint in South San Francisco early Monday morning, police said.

The robbery was reported at 1:26 a.m. in the 1000 block of Mission Road, where the 49-year-old victim was approached by a suspect who pointed a
black semi-automatic handgun at him and demanded his wallet and cellphone, according to police.

The victim handed over the items to the suspect, who rode away on a black bicycle. He is described as a Hispanic man around 20 years old who
had short hair, was clean-shaven with a light complexion and wore dark clothes, police said.

The victim was not injured in the robbery and the suspect remains at large this morning. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call South San Francisco police.
