MONROE, Connecticut (KRON) — Sandy Hook Elementary School students attending another campus are getting another scare after someone phoned in a bomb threat.
The call came in Wednesday morning as the students who would have attended Sandy Hook are receiving an education at nearby Chalk Hill Middle School.
Officials say the children were taken by bus to another campus. A search of the area failed to turn up a bomb, authorities say.
26 students and staff members were killed in a shooting rampage at Sandy Hook in December of 2012.
