DALLAS (KRON) — The nurse who has tested positive for Ebola in Dallas is a 26-year old graduate of Texas Christian University, her family tells a North Texas television station.
The family of 26-year old Nina Pham reached out to WFAA-TV with the information Monday morning.
Pham reportedly graduated two years ago from the TCU school of nursing and has been working since then at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas where she treated Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan.
Her family says Pham was diagnosed with Ebola after she reported a low-grade fever.
Officials say one person who was in close proximity to Pham is undergoing daily monitoring by the CDC.
