SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) –A man who robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Mission District Friday morning remains at large, according to police. The robbery took place on the 2000 block of Mission Street, right near the 16th Street BART station at about 9:40 a.m. Friday.
The suspect, who is described as a man 25-30 years old, entered the bank and produced a note to a female teller demanding money. The female bank teller then handed him an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect fled before police arrived.
A similar robbery took place in the Mission last February, where a man also handed the teller a note demanding money. That suspect was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of burglary, robbery and a narcotics violation, according to police.
The suspect in Friday’s robbery remains at large.
