A PG&E crew is working to repair a power outage in Foster City and Redwood Shores that initially impacted thousands of customers early Saturday morning, a utility spokesman said.
A power outage that initially impacted 3,930 customers, a majority in Foster City, was reported around 6:45 a.m., PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.
The outage impacted an area east of U.S. Highway 101, near the Belmont Slough and on Beach Park Boulevard, Guidi said.
As of 10:30 a.m., power was restored to all but 32 customers, he said.
There is no estimated time of when power will be restored to the remaining customers, according to Guidi.
The outage was caused by equipment failure, he said.
