OAKLAND — A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Oakland Saturday evening is in serious condition, police said.
Police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the 8100 block of Holly Street at 6:19 p.m., police said.
A police officer said she did not know the gender or age of the victim.
One suspect was taken into custody, and police said alcohol may have been a factor in the collision.
The officer said police were not yet releasing the name of the suspect. No further information was immediately available.
