SAN JOSE (KRON) — A 60 day suspension has been issued to Fiesta nightclub in San Jose following the Chris Brown event shooting.
The shooting happened Saturday night while the artist was performing on stage.
Five people were shot during the incident but none suffered life-threatening injuries.
So far no arrests have been made and police continue to investigate the incident.
The owner of the nightclub accepted the 60 day suspension of his entertainment permit and a 60 day ABC concurrent suspension.
Both suspensions go into effect on Friday.
The San Jose Police Department will continue to collaborate with ABC, Code Enforcement, and the City Attorney’s Office to ensure any other violations are addressed.
