LOS ANGELES (KRON) — Chris Brown is in trouble in L.A. in part for attending the club show in San Jose last weekend that resulted in five people getting shot.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin allowed Brown to remain free at least until a March 20 hearing when the judge will receive an update from probation officials.
The L.A. probation department ordered Brown not to leave Los Angeles County without permission back in December. Then this past weekend, Brown appeared at a party in a San Jose nightclub. He was performing when shots rang out and five people were hurt.
Officials say Brown has also failed to perform his community service before the deadline that had been imposed. He’s reportedly done about 800 of the 1,000 hours he was to have completed by the end of January.
