NAPA (KRON) — The Napa County Sheriffs Department has confirmed that 76 bottles of rare wine stolen from The French laundry restaurant has been recovered.
Officials say the wine was stolen from the world famous Napa restaurant Christmas night.
The wine has been recovered at a private cellar in Greensboro, North Carolina following weeks of investigation.
Officials have not released any information on how the wine made it to North Carolina.
At this time no arrests have been made.
The stolen collection included rare French wines such as the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, in which a single bottle can cost up to $10,000.
