VIDEO UPDATE: Evacuations Lifted After Pacifica Grass Fire

PACIFICA (KRON) — Evacuations are now over after a six-alarm grass fire that threatened 80-to-90 homes in Pacific.

The residents who live adjacent to the steep, hilly terrain where the fire began got wake up calls early Monday to say the fire was threatening where they lived.

The fire broke out early Monday near Fessler and Terra Nova in the Rockaway Beach area of Pacifica.

By 8:45 a.m. the orders had been lifted and residents were allowed to return home. No homes were damaged and there are no confirmed reports of injuries.
