Sketch May Help Identify Man Found Dead in Rohnert Park

ROHNERT PARK (KRON) — Authorities are still trying to identify a man whose body was found in Rohnert Park earlier this month.

Investigators are releasing a sketch of the dead man in an effort to figure out who he is.

The man is between 40 and 55, 5’11”, 220 lbs. He was balding with a full beard with brown and grey hair.

Authorities say the remains were found along an access road on Commerce Blvd between the Motel 6 and a self-storage unit.

The man wore prescription aviator-style metal frame glasses and a gray Times digital watch. He was wearing a black Ben Davis half-zip shirt, a brown zippered vest, a camouflage half-zipper jacket, black pants, white socks and gray athletic shoes.

Investigators say there are no signs of foul play.

The man was carrying a red 7-inch Polaroid tablet, a Cobra camera in a case, four micro SD cards, three memory cards and a micro solar panel. He also kept a journal with entries about math, physics and science, police say. Notes found on other pieces of scrap paper indicated he frequented libraries.

Authorities hope someone will recognize the sketch and help them determine who the man is.
