OAKLAND (BCN) — Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to speak in Oakland
Clinton, the nation’s 42nd president who served from 1993 to 2001, is speaking as part of the MPSF Speaker Series at the Paramount Theatre starting at 8 p.m.
Tickets to tonight’s event are only available by subscription and individual tickets are not available.
Other speakers in the series have included former FBI Director Robert Mueller, ABC News analyst Austan Goolsbee, former Utah governor and U.S. ambassador to Singapore and China Jon Huntsman, and former U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu.
Upcoming speakers in the series are former U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, on March 3 and author and activist Gloria Steinem on March 31.
Since leaving office, Clinton has remained active in the global community through his Clinton Foundation organization, which promotes global health, better economies and environmental action worldwide.
