SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)– President Obama is coming to the Bay Area to discuss cybersecurity and to fund raise.
The president arrived at San Francisco International Airport on Thursday evening.
President Obama will unveil his new public-private information sharing plan Friday at 11:20 a.m. at the White House Summit on Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection at Stanford University.
He will also discuss the increase in federal cybersecurity spending and talk about the Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center.
After the Cybersecurity summit, the president is hosting a roundtable with business leaders at 12:20 p.m. at Stanford.
Later Friday, at 4:40 p.m. President Obama will speak at a Democratic National Committee fundraising event in San Francisco at a private residence.
The president will leave the Bay Area on Saturday from SFO and fly to Palm Springs.
