OAKLAND (KRON) — One man was killed and another was injured in a hit-and-run collision in Oakland on Friday afternoon, according to police.
The collision occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. at 32nd Street and San Pablo Avenue, according to Lt. Chris Bolton.
One of the victims, described only as a male, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not expected to be life threatening, Bolton said.
Authorities say the two men were crossing the street. It’s unclear if they were in the crosswalk.
Police are looking for witnesses to the collision, Bolton said.
