OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) – A woman who police allege stabbed her husband to death was arrested by police in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Oakland Tribune reports that 35-year-old Tony Easley was killed Tuesday night at the couple’s East Oakland home.
The 30-year-old woman was still being interviewed Wednesday morning and her name was not released.
Oakland police Officer Jason Andersen said the two got into an argument about 7:50 p.m. Tuesday but he did not say what the argument was about.
Police said the argument moved outside, where Easley was stabbed with a knife. He walked a short distance away where he was pronounced dead at the scene. The couple were married in 2012.
The killing was Oakland’s 15th homicide of the year.
