CHP helicopter crew works to rescue man that plunged 30 ft. down cliff

MARIN (KRON) — A rescue is underway for a 24-year-old hiker that fell about 30 feet down a cliff Saturday afternoon at the Point Reyes National Seashore in Marin County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

California Highway Patrol officer James Andrews said a CHP helicopter crew was dispatched at 4:15 p.m. on a request for a rescue.

Crews located the hiker who fell down a cliff near Arch Rock, said Andrews.
