PETALUMA (KRON)– Petaluma police arrested a man on suspicion of DUI, which turned out to be his fifth in 10 years, according to a police sergeant.
The man was stopped by a K-9 officer for expired registration shortly before 11:40 p.m. near Marina Boulevard according to Sergeant Ron Klein. Instead of initially pulling over, Kennedy Musasizi, 39 of Petaluma, kept driving at which point he was stopped and arrested for suspicion of DUI.
While stopped, police discovered in their system that Musasizi had four DUI convictions since 2008. His licence was suspended, and his car impounded for 30 days. He is currently being held under $100,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
