SANTA CRUZ — School officials at The University of California, Santa Cruz are advising individuals not to come to campus this morning due to protestors blocking road access to the University.
The campus remains open, but individuals are advised to avoid trying to get onto campus.
University officials reported protestors started blocking the west entrance to the university around 4:45 a.m.
The university is also reporting Coolidge and Hagar drives have been blocked at the intersection by protestors.
The University Library will be closed today and is expected to reopen Friday.
Protestors are demonstrating against possible tuition hikes planned across the university system.
