San Francisco Giants’ Outfielder Hunter Pence Suffers Fractured Arm After Hit By Pitch

ARIZONA (KRON) — San Francisco Giants’ outfielder Hunter Pence suffered a fractured forearm after getting hit by pitch in the sixth inning of Thursday’s game against the Chicago Cubs, team manager Bruce Bochy said.

“Doesn’t look good,” Bochy told reporters after the game. Bochy said that an official timetable wouldn’t be provided until doctors can examine Pence’s X-rays.

X-rays showed Pence has a non-displaced fracture in his left forearm and is likely out 6 to 8 weeks.

Pence holds the team’s third-longest consecutive games played streak in franchise history.
